(Title attrib. to Withnail of Withnail and I; may we all drive like perpetually plastered, unemployed actors.) My old journal entry is very long and I want it to go away. I am really bloody busy-- schoolwork, friends, extracurricular responsibilities, rugby, some really exciting developments, etc. I'm trying (and sometimes failing) to simplify: keep the things I love and need to do and nix the trivial (like internet-ing). I got into Drawing I by virtue of being annoyingly persistent. I took a zillion (by which I mean about 400) digital photos and 4 rolls of film (Holga) in Israel (!!!) over break; I'll try not to submerge my gallery completely, but there are some pretty nice ones. I bought myself a sexy new sketchbook (or, well, pseudosexy-- the only book-bound one I could find at Pearl Paint, which was sad), even though, as always, I still have 20 pages left in my old one that I probably will never finish now. So I have a ton of stuff from the old one that it would be pretty cool to scan at some point. But not until I've figured out how to get my homework
